Greetings and welcome to Serenity Hollows, a small, quiet wooded retreat, a place where you can get away from the hubbub of the rest of your world, and just relax with friends, chat about stuff and have fun. Located in a small collection of valleys, you are at the point where everything meets, not far from the center.
Here begins Creative Creek, a slow, winding stream heading down through one of our hollows, where the main trail crosses at what we call Family Ford. There, a small community of artists practise their craft, in view of anyone who cares to make the journey; always willing to share their own work, those inhabitants also get interested in looking at the work of others. The main trail continues on past that, down to the beach at Yiffy Delta; however, due to the nature of the crowd down their, access is restricted to seasoned community members of sufficient age to sign contracts. Interested parties are invited to request access from any staff member.
Shortly upriver from here, Creative Creek passes a deeper section of our forest we refer to as the Leafy Lounge. In this area of Serenity Hollows, members of the community like to discuss popular entertainment by the Entertainment Escarpment. Above the escapment you can find the solar-powered Tech Treehouse, set aside to discuss computers and other technology; if you have problems with the entertainment facilities, call someone down. Some members may notice the single power line running from Tech Treehouse along branches across the entire lounge, to the News Nest, connected to the outside world to allow all members to find out and discuss what's going on.
At the top of Creative Creek, is the Chattering Clearing, where the Babbling Brook provides community facilities to discuss anything else, emptying over a waterfall into Playful Pond, and where we keep our Compost Heap to safely turn ugly old posts into fresh soil.
The community of Serenity Hollows is built upon the character of its members. As such, we wish to remind all inhabitants to maintain the spirit of friendship, happiness, and good humour. As we are located in a marketing free zone, we request that you cooperate with us in reducing the cruft that is mass advertising by not littering or spamming. Be nice to those around you, cooperation helps ensure out mutual survival. Feed the bears, and help them maintain their light-heartedness: if you feel like making a joke, at least make sure it's funny, unique, and avoids any overused memes, trolls, or image macros; failure to adhere to this may have disastrous consequences.
In other words: Be nice, don't spam, crack funny jokes instead of tired old ones and don't be a dick.
